What actually happens at a Roundtable?
Facilitated by Fusion founder, Ashley Matkovic, each Roundtable centres on a specific business topic, bringing a small group of women together to share experiences, explore challenges and exchange ideas. Expect thought-provoking questions, honest conversations, practical insights and perspectives. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to the discussion, learn from other women's experiences and leave with fresh ideas to take back into your business.
Is this a networking event?
Yes — but probably not the kind you're used to. There’s no working the room or awkward small talk. The focus is on thought-provoking conversation and genuine connection, with plenty of opportunity to get to know the women around the table.
When and where are the Roundtables held?
Our Roundtables are held on weekdays during school/office hours and run for approximately 2 hours, in a private boardroom in the Perth CBD.
How many women are in each Roundtable?
We intentionally keep the groups small and intimate with a maximum of 18, so everyone has the opportunity to contribute to the conversation and actually connect.
Is there a sales pitch?
We'll share more about our signature networking program, Fusion Platinum, at the end of the Roundtable. It's an opportunity to learn about our private six-month networking & leadership experience if you're interested in going deeper with Fusion. There is no obligation to join.
Will I need to share my business challenges in front of everyone?
Absolutely not. You're welcome to contribute as much or as little as feels comfortable.
The Roundtables are designed to encourage open, respectful discussion without putting anyone on the spot. You can share your experience, ask questions or simply listen and learn.
How much does a Roundtable cost & do I need to be a member?
Roundtable tickets start from $89 + GST per person. Your ticket is for one standalone Roundtable — there’s no ongoing commitment or membership required.
What if I don't know anyone attending?
Perfect. That's part of the point. Fusion is built around creating meaningful connections between women who might never otherwise cross paths. You'll be welcomed into the conversation, with a shared topic giving everyone a natural place to start.
You don't need to arrive with a networking strategy or a pocket full of business cards.
Do I need to prepare anything beforehand?
Nope. Just bring yourself, an open mind and a willingness to join the conversation.
You don't need a presentation, a perfectly articulated business problem or all the answers. The whole point is to have space to think, share and explore ideas with women who bring different experiences to the table.
