The evolution of Fusion
Our founder, Ashley Matković, had become disillusioned with traditional networking.
Too much small talk.
Too much surface-level connection.
Too much collecting business cards and calling it community.
She was craving more deep conversations, more real friendships.
She knew there had to be another way. So she created it.
A space where women would come together, take their masks off, share their truth, help each other grow and support each other through the ups & downs of entrepreneurship.
And for a decade it thrived as Western Australia's largest business networking community with thousands of women through the doors, and hundreds of events hosted.
And we loved every minute of it.
But then, Ash noticed a shift.
From networking events, to something much deeper
As our community grew, something became increasingly clear
The women who had been with us the longest were changing.
Their businesses were growing.
Their ambitions were getting bigger.
And what they wanted from their relationships was changing too.
They weren't looking for more people to network with.
They were looking for the right people.
